New Residential Construction Forms These forms consist of two pages in Adobe Acrobat PDF format. The first page is a general description of the construction project. This form will give us specifications we can describe in our report and help us to visualize the project when complete. The second page is a break-down of the construction costs for the building project. Please take the time to research and complete this list of costs carefully. Accuracy is very important! Along with a copy of the building plans, the cost break-down will form the basis upon which the appraisal will be completed. The costs in the list should be based on contractor’s costs and estimates. Each component of the list should contain labour as well as materials. The cost breakdown list will be used to calculate any progress advances during construction. Credit will only be given for those components that are installed and form an integral part of the building. Credit will not be given for supplies that are purchased but not installed, even if they are on site. The cost breakdown list gives a general indication of the items to consider. The list is meant to be a guide only and some items may not apply to your project. Additional space has been provided to add items if necessary. If there are any questions about how to complete this form, please contact our office. For convenience we have also provided the cost breakdown form in a MS Excel worksheet. |
